HomeMy WebLinkAbout93-133FOR Kesalufion No. gs RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING REVOLVING FUND TREASURER - TAX COLLECTORS OFFICE - CENTRAL COLLECTIONS GOVERNMENT CODE SECTION 29320 ET SE . WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte has determined that for the efficient operation of Central Collections, the necessity has arisen for the establishment of a revolving fund; and WHEREAS, the Government Code of the State of California, Sections 29320 et seq. and more particularly 71267 provides for the establishment of such funds. NOW, THEREFORE, SE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte as follows; 1. That there is determined to be a necessity for the establishment of a revaluing fund in the Office of the Treasurer - Tax Collector - Central Collections far the purpose of making change when carrying on the business of the department; 2. That the amount of the revolving fund shall be the sum of One Hundred Dollars ($100.00) far Central Collections. 3. That this fund is established in accordance with Sections 29310 et seq. of the Government Code of the State of California, and that copies of the resolution shall be transmitted to the County Auditor and the County Treasurer; 4. That the County Administrator is instructed pursuant to Section 29323 of the Government Code of the State of California, to amend by endorsement the blanket fidelity bond of the County to be conditioned, in addition to its provisions, upon the faithful administration of the revolving fund and upon the willingness and ability of the principal for whom such a fund has been established to account for and pay over the fund upon demand of the Board of Supervisors at any time; 5. The Auditor of the County of Butte is hereby authorized and directed to issue a warrant in the sum of One Hundred Dollars {$100) in favor of Central Collections of the County of Butte from the County General Fund. _~_ PASSED AND ADOPTED this 14th day of September, 1993 by the Butte County Board of Supervisors by the following vote: AYES: Supervisors Meyer, Dolan, McLaughlin, Thomas and Chair Roux NOES : None ABSENT: None NOT VOTING : None MARY ANN HOII%, Chair, Bute County Board of Supervisors ATTEST: JOHN S.
