September 1, 1968. Since that time, she has faithfully performed
her duties during .:the terms of four Butte County Treasurer-Tax
Collectors.
WHEREAS, "BETTY" during her career was heavily involved
in the Butte County's transition to the current computerized fund
accounting system; and
WHEREAS, "BETTY" maintained the complicated 1911 Act Bond
system within the Treasurer's office,
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of
Supervisors, on its own behalf, and on behalf of the residents of
the County of Butte;
That said Board expresses its appreciation for the
unselfish dedication and devotion given by ELISABETH "BETTY" NISSEN
during her 25 years as an Account Clerk II in the Treasurer - Tax
Collector's Office of Butte County.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of
Supervisors on this 14th day of September, 1.993 by the following
vote:
AYES: Supervisars Meyer, Dolan, McLaughlin, '~homas and Chair Haux
