VIRGIL SCOTT
WHEREAS, VIRGIL SCOTT, since June 3, 1959, has served the
people of the County of Butte faithfully as a public employee.
WHEREAS, VIRGIL SCOTT began his employment as a janitor in the
housing and property section of the Butte County Hospital and since
that .time has progressed upward to his current position of
Supervisor - Grounds Maintenance with the Building and Grounds
Division of General Services.
WHEREAS, VIRGIL SCOTT retired from the County of Butte on
August 27, 1.993 after over 34 years of faithful service to the
citizens of this County,
WHEREAS, VIRGIL SCOTT will always be remembered by his co-
workers as a hard working, religious, and kind family man who
willingly gave 100% effort during his many years of service.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE .IT RESOLVED that this Board of Supervisors,
on its awn behalf, and on behalf of the employees and residents of
the County of Butte would like to empress their deep appreciation
for the unselfish dedication and devotion given by VIRGIL SCOTT
during his career with the County of Butte.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors on
this 14th day of September 1993 by the following vote:
