RESOLUTION APPROVING THE ISSUANCE BY THE
OROVILLE - WYANDOTTE IRRIGATION DISTRICTS OF
ITS SLY CREEK POWER PROJECT 1993
HYDROELECTRIC REFUNDING REVENUE BONDS
WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte
published notice for and held a public hearing regarding the
refinancing of the Sly Creek Power Project through the issuance by
the Oroville-Wyandotte Irrigation District (the "District") of the
District's Sly Creek Power. Project 1993 Hydroelectric Refunding
Revenue Bonds (the "Bonds"} in an aggregate principal amount of
$11,385,000; _
NOW, THEREFORE, the Board of Supervisors of the County of
Butte hereby resolves as follows:
Section 1. The Board of Supervisors of the County of
Butte approves of the issuance of the Bands by the District.
Section 3. This resolution is being adopted solely for
purposes of satisfying the requirements of Section 147 (f) of the
Internal Revenue Code of 1986. This resolution does not bind or
obligate the County of Butte in any way with respect to the Bonds
or the Sly Creek Power Project.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of
Supervisors on the 26th day of October, 1993 by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Meyer, Dolan, McLaughlin, Thomas and Chair Houx
NOES : None
ABSENT: None
