AGRICULTURAL COMMISSIONER'S OFFICE
WHEREAS, the Butte County Board of Supervisors has recognized
a need to modify public access hours in certain departments to
obtain efficiency using existing staff; and
WHEREAS, Butte County Cade Section 2-1 (Ordinance 2241)
provides that the Board of Supervisors may adopt resolutions
specifying those office hours which a department will be open to
public business transactions; and
WHEREAS, regulatory and contractual obligations of the
Department of Agriculture to the public and industry are best
served during hours other than core county public access hours;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Butte County Board of
Supervisors as follows:
1. The Department of Agriculture will maintain the following
office hours:
Oroville: 8:00 a.m. to noon and 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Chico: 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 to 4:00 p.m.
Gridley: 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m« and 3:00 to 5:00 p.m.
Monday and Wednesday
and
3:00 p.m, to 5:00 p.m.
Tuesday and Thursday
All offices will allow scheduling by appointment as needed during
normal work hours, Monday through Thursday.
2. Resolution 89-031 adopted March 14, 1989 is hereby
rescinded in its entirety.
PAssED AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors on
the 9th of November, 1993, by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Meyer, Dolan, McLaughlin, Thomas and. Chair Houx
NOES : None
ABSENT: None
