HomeMy WebLinkAbout93-170RESOLUTION OF THE BUTTE COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS MODIFYING OFFICE HOURS - AUDITOR, COUNTY CLERK-ELECTIONS AND TREASURER-TAX COLLECTOR WHEREAS, the Butte County Board of Supervisors has recognized a need to modify public access hours in certain departments to obtain efficiency using existing staff; and WHEREAS, Butte County Code Section 2-1 provides that the Board of Supervisors may adopt resolutions specifying those office hours which a department will be open to public business transactions; and WHEREAS, there is a need to provide quality public service while providing staff with sufficient time to accommodate the demands of an increasing workload resulting from a reduction in employee work hours and staff shortages; and WHEREAS, uniform public opening hours on the same work floor will benefit bath the public and staff. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors that the offices of the Auditor, County Clerk- Elections, and Treasurer-Tax Collector wi11 be open to the public between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. an all days designated as regular work days.
