HomeMy WebLinkAbout93-175WHEREAS, the Butte County Board of Supervisors has recognized
a need to modify public access hours in certain departments to
obtain efficiency using existing staff; and
WHEREAS, Butte County Code Section 2-1 provides that the Board
of Supervisors may adopt resolutions specifying those office hours
which a department will be open to public business transactions;.
and
WHEREAS, the nature of the Public Guardian/Public
Administrator's duties requires greater public access due to the
type of services provided, the type of clientele served, the needs
of the clientele, and the need to be available to respond to
emergencies of any type without unnecessary delays; and,
WHEREAS, the limited staff of the Public Guardian/Public
Administrator has demonstrated greater efficiency and productivity
with office closure for the lunch hour from noon to 1:00 p.m.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Butte County Board of
supervisors as follows:
1. The Department of Public Guardian/Public Administrator
will be open to the public Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to
12 noon and from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. and closed for lunch from 12 noon
to 1 p.m.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the County
of Butte, State of California, on the 9th day of November , 1993,
by the following vote:
