HomeMy WebLinkAbout93-176WHEREAS, the Butte County Board of Supervisors has
recognized a need to modify public access hours in certain
departments to obtain efficiency using existing staff; and
WHEREAS, Butte County Code Section 2-1 provides that the
Board of Supervisors may adopt resolutions specifying those
office hours which a department will be open to public business
transactions; and
WHEREAS, the South Butte County Municipal Court's Office
hours previously had been limited to six hours on Monday,
Wednesday and Thursday; and limited to four hours on Tuesday and
Friday -- condensing the 5 day work week into 4 days and
expanding the office hours to 8 hours will hamper the Court's
ability to pracess:.:~ necessary court papers in a timely manner;
WHEREAS, there is only one employee (branch manager) in the
Gridley Branch Court;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Butte County Board af.
Supervisors that the South Butte County Municipal Court will open
to the public as follows:
