WILLOUGHBY WHEREAS, BOB WILLOUGHBY, a 1959 graduate of Oregon State University with graduate courses in Agronomy at Gal State University, Fresno started his career with the University of California Extension Service in Kern County as a 4-H Youth Advisor. WHEREAS, BOB WILLOUGHBY, in 1974, became Farm Advisor and County Director in Trinity County. WHEREAS, 808 WILLOUGHBY, in September 1978, relocated to Butte County to take over livestock, range and forage crop production responsibilities. He has worked in the area of rangeland management, better feed grass growing methods, safer antibiotic injection tools and vaccines, and breeding leaner, meatier animals. WHEREAS, BOB WILLOUGHBY has been dedicated to assisting Butte County in solving their agricultural problems. He has made a significant contribution of time, effort and participation in his field throughout the county. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that this Board, on its own behalf, and on behalf of the residents of the County of Butte would like to express their deep appreciation for the unselfish dedication given by BOB WILLOUGHBY, having completed 29 years with the University of California Extension Service, 15 of those years in Butte County.
