TO ORDINANCE NOS. 475, 522 and 676 OF SAID COUNTY, 2 The Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of Cali- .- fornia, under and pursuant to Ordinance No. 475 of said County, 3 being the Zoning Enabling Ordinance of said County as amended by Ordinance Nos. 52~.. and 676, does ordain as follows: 4'' SECTION 1. The hereinbelaw described area situate in the County 8 of Butte, State of California, shall be-and is hereby zoned as an A-3 (Agricultural) District and such area shall be subject to the 6' restrictions and restricted uses and regulations hereinafter speci- e fled and provided, said areasi;:so zoned being located in the Gnin- 7 corporated area of Butte County, State of California, and particu- larly described as follows: 8 As show n. by map attached and as shown on Butte County P1ap in the office of the Butte 9 County Planning Commission and in the office of the Butte County Clerk. 10 ii SECTION 2. The following regulations shall:apply:in an "A-3" 12; District: 13 2 1 Uses Permitted: 14' a. Single Family Dwellings. 6. General farming, horticulture, commercial livestock, 1:5; poultry productions, warehouse and storage. 16 c. Accessory buildings and uses pertinent to the permitted uses, including agricultural processing plants. ~~ d. Housing facilities (including trailers) to accommodate only agricultural families employed by the owner or operator of the 18! premises; and provided further that such housing facility shall be considered accessory to the main building, but shall conform to the 19 provision pertaining to required yard and open space for dwellings. 20 2.2 The following uses subject to securing a use permit in each case: 2I'' a. Go]f courses and country clubs. 22' b. Public or quasi-public uses including churches, fire- houses, hospitals and clinics, parks and playgaounds, schools., 23 public utility buildings and professional buildings. 24' 2.3 Minimum Lot Area Required: Five (5) acres. 25 SECTION 3. All uses of land within the district not specifically authorized and permitted under Section 2 are prohibited. 26 SECTION 4. Penalties for any violation of the zoning hereby im- 27' posed within the District shall be as provided in the Zoning Enabl- ing Ordinance. In compliance with the provisions of the Zoning 28, Enabling Ordinance, this Ordinance sha71 from and after its effect- - ive date become a supplement to and part of the Zoning Enabling 29 Ordinance. 30' SECTION 5. For the immediate preservation of the public peace, health and safety of the area hereinabove described, and the resi- 33 dents and inhabitants thereof, it is necessary that this Ordinance take effect immediately. SECTION 6. This emergency ordinance s:fia~iltake effect immediately upon its passage and before the expiration of fifteen (15) days after its passage shall be published once, with the names of all members voting for and against the same in the Chico Enterprise , a newspaper published in said County of Butte, State of California.
