AN INTERIM ORDINANCE ZONING A PORTION OF
THE COUNTY. OF BUTTE, STATE Of CALIFORNIA,
PURSUANT TO ORDINAPiCE NOS. 475, 522 and 676
OF SAID COUNTY
The Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of Cali-
fornia, under and pursuant to Ordinance No. 475, being the Zoning
Enabling Ordinance of-said County as amended by Ordinance Nos. 522
and 676, DOES ORDAIN as follows:
SECTION 1. The hereinbelow described area, situate in the County
~f Butte, State of California, shall be and it is hereby zoned as an
`R-1" (Single Family Residential).District, and such_ar.ea shall be
>ubject to the restrictions and restricted uses and regulations
Hereinafter specified and provided. Said area so zoned being locates
in the unincorporated area of Butte County, north of the City of
;hico, California, and particularly described as follows:
As shown by map attached and as shown on
Butte County Map in the office of the Butte
County Planning Commission and in the office
of the Butte County Clerk
SECTION 2. REGULATIONS FOR "R-1" District.
The°following regulations shall apply in an "R-l" District:
2.1 USES PERMITTED:
trailers.
a. Single Family Dwellings, nat including tents or
b. Accessory buildings pertinent to the permitted uses.
2.2 LOT AREA: Minimum required area of a lot per dwelling
nit shall not be less than eight thousand, one hundred tvrenty-five

2.3 LOT ~IIDTH: Minimum lot width shall not be less than

SECTION 4. In compdiance with the provisions of said Zoning En-
25 tiling Ordinance, the same is hereby amended by adding to Section 5
hereof this ordinance in fu71.

SECTION 5. For the immediate preservai:ion of the public peace,
27 ea1th and safety of the area hereinabove described, and the resi-
ents and inhabitants thereof, it is necessary that this ordinance
28 ake effect immediately. A declaration of the facts constituting
he necessity therefor is as follows:

SECTION 6. This emergency ordinance shall ~"~` effect immediat-
ely upon its passage and before the expiration of 'fifteen (15) days
after its passage shall 6e published once, with the-names of all
members voting for and against the same in the Chico~Enterprise
a newspaper published in said County of Butte, State of California..
PASSED and ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the County of
Butte, State of California, this 13th day of June 1967, by the
following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Dunaway, Maxon, McKillop, Pryde and Chairman Howsden.
NOES: None
