AN ORDINANCE At~fENDING BUTTE COUNTY ORDINANCE N0. 475,
KNOWN AS THE BUTTE COUNTY ZONING ENABLING ORDINANCE
.,_ 1' The Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of Cali-
form a, Does Ordain as follows:

Section 16 of said Ordinance No. 475 is deleted in its entirety
3} and amended to read as follows:
4 SECTION 16. VARIANCES.
5: 16.1 Trailer dwellings are permitted in A-2 (General) zoning
districts, subject to securing a sewerage disposal permit and a
6; trailer living permit from the Butte County Flealth Department.
7' 16.2 With the exception of the R-1 {Single Family Resident-
' ial) Districts, a special use permit for temporary trailer dwelling
8' may be issued by the Planning Department in ali the other remaining
zoning classification districts for a period not to exceed one (1)
9 year and provided that all of the following conditions are complied
with.

a. That the occupant has secured a building permit for a
11' residence;
12. b. That the occupant has secured a sewerage disposal
'' permit from the Butte County Health Department;

c. That before six (6) months have elapsed from the date
1~. of the issuance of the buildin
g permit, the occupant
shall have completed the foundation, rough p]umbing,
15; framing and the roof of the proposed residence; and
ls' d. That the house must be completed within the One (1)
year period and the trailer-dwelling must be abandoned

e. That any variance granted hereunder shall be null and
18 void in the event of the occupant's non-compliance
with any of the provisions of this section.

2a` meeting the standards of this ordinance, or where conditions exist
' which make compliance with any rule impracticable, the Planning
21; Commission may recommend the Board of Supervisors to modify or amen
any minimum requirement set forth in this ordinance as to said
22 property.
23 The foregoing amendment to Ordinance No. 475 shall take effect
thirty (30) days after the passage of the same, and before the ex-
24' pi ration of fifteen (l5) days after such passage the foregoing
' amendment shall be published with the names of the members voting
25 for and against the same at least once in the Paradise Post
26- a newspaper published in the County of Butte.
PASSED and ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the County of
27~ Butte, State of California, on the 13eh day of dune 1467,
by the following vote:
