HomeMy WebLinkAbout937yi, ~~~ -~.~ ORDINANCE NO. ~ J __ AN ORDINANCE ZONING A PORTION OF THE COUNTY OF BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, PURSUANT TO ORDINANCE NOS. 475, 522 and 676 OF SAID COUNTY L 2. 3 4 5 6 7 s. 9. 10 11. 12 13 i4 15 16 17' 18` 19 20- 21 22 23 24. 25 26- 27 28 29` 30- 31 32 The Board of supervisors of the County of Butte, State of Cali- fornia, under and pursuant to Ordinance No. 475 of said County, being the Zoning Enabling Ordinance of said County as amended by Ordinance Nos. 522 and 676, does ordain as follows: SECTION 1. The hereinbelow described area situate in the County of Butte, State of California, shall be and is hereby zoned as an A-3 (Agricultural) District and such area shall be subject to the restrictions and restricted uses and regulations hereinafter speci- fied and provided, said area so zoned being located in the unin- corporated area of Butte. County, State of California, and particu- larly described as follows: As shown by map attached and as spawn on Butte County Map in the office of the Butte County Planning Commission and in the office of the Butte County Cleric. SECTION 2. The following regulations shall apply in an "A-3" (District: 2.1 Uses Permitted: a. Single Family Dwellings. b. General farming, horticulture, commercial livestock, poultry productions, warehouse and storage. c. Accessory buildings and uses pertinent to the permitted uses, including agricultural processing plants. d. Housing facilities (including trailers) to accommodate only agricultural families employed by the owner or operator of the premises; and provided further that such housing facility shall be considered accessory to the main building, but sha11 conform to the provision pertaining to required yard and open space for dwellings. 2.2 The following uses subject to securing a use permit in each Ease: a. Golf courses and country clubs. b. Public or quasi-public uses including churches, fire- houses, hospitals and clinics, parks and playgrounds, schools, public utility buildings and professional buildings. 2.3 Minimum Lot Area Required: Five (5) acres. SECTION 3. All uses of land within the district not specifically authorized and permitted under Section 2 are prohibited. SECTION 4. Penalties for any violation of the zoning hereby im- posed within the District shall be as provided in the Zoning Enabl- ing Ordinance. In compliance with the provisions of the Zoning En- abling Ordinance shall from and after its effective date become a supplement to and a part of the Zoning Enabling Ordinance. SECTION 5.
