participating in the County Medical Services Program (CMSP) met in
San Francisco on December 2, 1993 and acted to create the
California Rural Health Alliance and designated a governance
structure; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary for each CMSP County Board of
Supervisors to designate its health official and welfare director
for possible service on the California Rural Health Alliance
Administrative Committee and the Eligibility and Benefits Sub-
committees;
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that Dr. Chester L. Ward, M.D.
is hereby designated as the County of Butte's health official for
purposes of the governance structure of the California Rural Health
Alliance, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that Ms. Patricia Cragar is hereby
designated as Butte County's Welfare Director for purposes of the
governance structure of the California Rural Health Alliance.
ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors on this
11th day of January, 1994 by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Meyer, Dolan, NouX, Thomas and C;hai_r McLaughlin
