PROCLAMATION DECLARING WEER OF MAY 15, 1994
SALVATION ARMY WEER
94-55
WHEREAS, the Salvation Army has been in existence since
1865 to lend assistance for those in need.
WHEREAS, the week of May 15, 1994, the Army will be
celebrating across the United States and the world, proclaiming its
contribution to mankind, with its helping hand to those less
fortunate than others.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of
Supervisors of the. County of Butte do hereby proclaim the week of
May 15, 1994 as SALVATION ARMY WEER.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board of
Supervisors to urge all citizens tv join in support of this
organization.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of
Supervisors on this 10th day of May, 1994 by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Dolan, Houx, Thomas anal Chair McTaughlin
NOES : None
ABSENT : None
NOT VOTING: None
