CHIEF INVESTIGATOR/ADMINISTRATOR
ROBERT ELSTON "PETS" PETERSON
WHEREAS, this Board expresses its appreciation to ROBERT
ELSTON "PETE" PETERSON who has faithfully served the citizens of
Butte County for twenty years; and
WHEREAS, Pete Peterson served for ten years as Chief
Investigator/Administrator for the Butte County District Attorney;
and
WHEREAS, Pete Peterson has dedicated his life to service
of the people of the United States of America, and the State of
California through fifteen years of active and reserve duty with
the U.S. Army and thirty years as a California peace officer with
the Long Beach. Police Department, Butte County Sheriff's
Department, and Butte County District Attorney's Office.
NOW, THEREFORE, SE IT RESOLVED as follows:
This Board, on behalf of the people of this county as
well as on its own behalf, wish to express to ROBERT ELSTON "PETE"
PETERSON its sincere appreciation for his many years of outstanding
service to the people of the County of Butte, and further wish him
well in his retirement.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of
Supervisors on this 14th day of June, 1994 by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Meyer, Dolan, Houx, Thomas and Chair McLaughlin
NOES: None
