celebrating National Rehabilitation Week during the third week of
September and
WHEREAS, Butte County, recognizes and values the
educational, social and humanitarian contribution of its many
citizens with disabilities and
WHEREAS, those citizens have found hope, spirit and
dignity through the services of rehabilitative programs and
WHEREAS, rehabilitative services through out our nation
help to restore people with disabilities to independent, productive
and fulfilling lives and
WHEREAS, Butte County, is proud and honored to have Work
Training Center's quality and progressive rehabilitative facilities
in the community. '
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT SO RESOLVED that the Butte County
Board of Supervisors proclaim September 19 through 25 National
Rehabilitation Week, and encourages all citizens to renew their
commitment to people with disabilities and to the efforts of
rehabilitative services in improving the quality of life for them.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors an this
13th day of September, 1994 by the following vote:
