CALIFORNIA, ADOPTING A GENERAL PLAN AMENDMENT FROM AGRICULTURAL
RESIDENTIAL TO LOW DENSITY RESIDENTIAL, MEDIUM DENSITY RESIDENTIAL,
FOOTHILL AREA RESIDENTIAL, PUBLIC AND COMMERC[AL FOR LAND LOCATED
GENERALLY NORTHEAST OF FORBESTOWN ROAD AND SOUTHEAST OF
HIGHWAY 162
WHEREAS, Robert Taylor has submitted an application to amend the Butte
County General Plan Land Use Plan Map from the Agricultural Residential land use
designation to Low Density Residential, Medium Density Residential, Foothill Area
Residential, Public, and Commercial land use designations for property identified on
Exhibit A-1 attached hereto; and
WHEREAS, the requested General Plan amendment has been studied,
reviewed, and recommended for approval by the Butte County Planning Commission
after a series of public hearings; and
WHEREAS, the Butte County Board of Supervisors has reviewed and
considered the contents of the Environmental Impact Report (Exhibit A-2) prepared on
the Genera[ Plan Amendment pursuant to the California Environmental Quality Act; and
WHEREAS, the Butte County Board of Supervisors has held a public hearing on
the General Pian Amendment at which all interested parties were heard; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE 1T RESOLVED, that the Land Use Plan Map of the
General Plan is approved for Low Density Residential, Medium Density Residential,
Foothill Area Residential, Public, and Commercial as shown on the attached Exhibit
A-1 which is hereby incorporated by reference.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors on this 27th
