TO IMPLEMENT AN ADOLESCENT RESIDENTIAL CRISIS PROGRAM
AND APPLY FOR LTCENSURE
WHEREAS, the Butte County Board of Supervisors is committed to
the health and well being of the children and families of the
County; and
WHEREAS, there is a need to provide an emergency shelter and
services to youth in crisis; and
WHEREAS, the County Department of Mental Health Services has
been identified as the lead agency in developing such a shelter.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Supervisors
authorizes the Mental Health Director to take the lead in
implementing this shelter, including authority to apply for
appropriate license(s) with the Department of Social Services.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors
this 25th day of October 1994 by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Meyer, Dolan, Roux, Thomas, Chair McLaughlin
