HomeMy WebLinkAbout94-127WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte has
determined that for the efficient operation of the Farm Advisor's
Office, the necessity exists far a Petty Cash/Revolving Fund; and
WHEREAS, the Government Code of the State of California,
Section 29320 et. seq. provides far the establishment of such
funds, and
WHEREAS, it has been determined that a $50 Petty Cash/
Revolving Fund has in fact been in existence and in use by the Farm
Advisor's Office for many years but that no official record of
Supervisors' approval can be located.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS of
the County of Butte as follows:
1. That there is determined to be a necessity for the
existence of a Petty Cash/Revolving Fund in the Office of the Farm
Advisor for the purpose of making change and reimbursing field
officer's miscellaneous purchases when carrying on the business of
the Farm Advisor.
2. That a fund already exists in the amount of $50 and that
by this resolution this fund is officially established in the
amount of $50 in accordance with Section 29320 et. seq. of the
Government Code of the State of California, and that certified
copies of this resolution shall be transmitted to the County
Auditor and the County Treasurer.
3. That this fund is established in accordance with Section
29320 et. seq. of the Government Code, and that the officer (and
his successors) entrusted with the fund shall comply with the
provisions of this article.
4. That the County Administrator is instructed pursuant to
Section 29323 of the Government Cade of the State of California, to
amend by endorsement the blanket fidelity bond of the County to be
conditioned, in addition to its provisions, upon the faithful
administration of the revolving fund and upon the willingness and
ability of the principal for whom such a fund has been established
to account for and pay aver the fund upon demand of the Board of
Supervisors at any time.

PETTY CASH/REVOLVING FUND HELD BY THE FARM ADVISOR
5. That since this fund already exists in the amount of $50
and that amount is already being held by the Farm Advisor, that the
Auditor shall NOT issue a warrant in that amount but shall add that
amount to the County records as Imprest Cash held by the Farm
Advisor.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors on
this 8th day of November, 1994, by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Meyer, Dolan, Houx, Thomas and Chair McLaughlin
