RESOLUTION E5TABI,ISHING ADVISORY
COMMITTEE FOR COUNTY SERVICE AREA NO. 34
(GRIDLEY SWIMMING POOL)
WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, vn the 17th day
of December, 1968, passed and adopted Resolution No. 68-206, establishing County
Service Area No. 34 for the operation, maintenance, repair and upkeep of a
swimming peal constructed upon the Butte County Fairgrounds; and
WHEREAS, said Baard, on the 13th day of May, 1969, passed and adopted
Resolution No. 69-87, providing the additional extended service within County
Service Area No. 34 for the purchase of capital improvements; and
WHEREAS, said Board, on the 17th day of December, 1968, passed and adopted
Resolution No. 68-207, establishing an Advisory Committee for said County Service
Area No. 34; and
WHEREAS, all of the positions an said Advisory Committee are currently
vacant, and the governing Board of the Butte County Fair Association has
expressed its willingness to serve as the Advisory Committee far said County
Service Area No. 34.
NOW, T~REFORE, SE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors of the County
of Butte, as follows:
Section 1 of said Resolution No. 68-207 is hereby amended to read as
follows:
1. The governing Board of the Butte County Fair Association shall
act as the Advisory Committee for said County Service Area No. 34.
2. The duties of said Advisory Committee shall Tae as specified in
said Resolution No. 68--207.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, this
8th day of November , 1994, by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Meyer, Dolan, Houx, Thomas and Chair McLaughlin
