ELEANOR M. GUY
WHEREAS, Eleanor Guy began her career with the County of Butte
as an Accountant IT in the Auditor's Office, advancing within the
department in responsible positions, to become Supervisor-Tax
Accounting, her present position; and
WHEREAS, Eleanor Guy has devoted much time and effort towards
identifying and implementing needed modifications and improvements
to the property tax computer system. She has endured and remained
on a steady course during the ever-changing property tax
apportionment process of recent years. She has earned the respect
of her co-workers, fellow County employees, and numerous citizens
wham she has helped with their tax questions.
WHEREAS, Eleanor Guy has diligently served the residents of
the County of Butte since August, 1975 with extraordinary
dedication;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE TT RESOLVED, that this Board, on its own
behalf, and on behalf of the residents of the County of Butte, wish
to express to Eleanor Guy sincere appreciation for her many years
of unselfish dedication and outstanding service rendered to the
residents of the County of Butte, and further wish her we11 on her
retirement.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the County
of Butte, State of California, this 13th day of December, 1994, by
the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Meyer, Dolan, Houx, Thomas and Chair McLaughlin
NOES : Nore
