RESOLUTION ABANDONING A PUBLIC RIGHT-OF-WAY
{PORTION OF LAKE BOULEVARD, PALERMO AREA)
WHEREAS, this matter came an regularly for hearing before
the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of
California, on Decemhe~ 13 , 1994, in the Board Chambers,
Butte County Administration Building, Oroville, California; and,
WHEREAS, it appearing to said Board that notice of the
time and place of the hearing on the petition far the abandonment
of the right-of-way in question was duly and regularly given as
required by law; and,
WHEREAS, testimony and evidence, both oral and
documentary, having been produced at said hearing, from which said
Board now finds that the hereinafter described public right-of-way
is unnecessary for present or prospective public use.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY ORDERED as follows:
]... That the public right-of-way situated in the County
of Butte, State of California, as hereinafter more particularly
described, is hereby abandoned pursuant to Chapter 3 of Part 3 of
Division 9 of the California Streets and Highways Code .(commencing
with Section 8320).

2. That said public right-of-way so abandoned is located
north of the intersection of Beaver Road and Cougar Road in the
unincorporated area of the County of Butte, in the Palermo area,
State of California, is on property identified as AP 027-020-063
and 064, and is more particularly described as follows:
Being a portion of that certain 60 foot right-af-way known as Lake
Boulevard, as shown on the amended map of Ross Orchard Tract,
recorded in Book S Maps of Record, at Pages 31A, 32A and 33A,
County of Butte, State of California located 30 feet on each side
of the following described centerline:
Commencing at the East one quarter corner of Section 2, T 18 N,
R4E, M.D.M. ; thence N 13 ° 19' 09" E. , 845.24 feet to the True
Point of Beginning, said point lying at the intersection of the
said centerline and the lot line common to AP# 27-02-62 and AP#
27-02-64, said point also being on a curve concave to the East,
having a radius of 500 feet and a central angle of O8° 40' (the
radial bearing at this point being N 69° 34' 50" W}; thence
Southerly along said centerline and the arc of said curve 75.62
feet; thence S 11° 45' 11" W, 291.50 feet to the beginning of a
curve to the left having a radius of 1., 000 feet and a central angle
of 09° 35'; thence along the arc of said curve 167.26 feet; thence
S 02° 10' 11" W, 106.10 feet more or less to the Southerly end of
said Lake Boulevard and the end of the herein described centerline.
The Basis of Bearings for this description is the same as that as
shown on the Record of Survey recorded in Book 61 of Maps at Page
38, Butte County Recorders Office along the West line of the
Northwest one quarter of said Section 2 taken as North 02° 09' 11"
East.
3. That a map showing the right-of-way hereby abandoned is on
file in the Office of Butte County Department of Public Works, 7
County Center Drive, Oroville, California 95965.
4. That the Clerk of this Board shall cause a certified copy
of this Resolution, with the seal of the Berard of Supervisors of
the County of Butte, State of California, to be recorded in the
office of the Recorder of the County of Butte, State of California.
