HomeMy WebLinkAbout95-018WHEREAS, Jeffrey Dalman Madden was the first Butte County Cale Enforcement Officer ever hired; and WHEREAS, Jeff Madden established many of the procedures used in the enforcement of the Butte County Code, drafting several Butte County Code Chapters; and WHEREAS, Jeff Madden exhibited unflagging and exceptional tenacity and dedication in working towards a decent quality of life for residents in the unincorporated areas of Butte County throughout his tenure as a Butte County Code Enforcement Officer; and WHEREAS, Jeff Madden was an exceptionally witty and pleasant individual; and WHEREAS, Jeff Madden recently passed away on Thursday, December 29, 1994, after fighting so hard to overcome the illness that finally took his life; and WHEREAS, Jeff Madden faced this overwhelming ordeal wifh courage and dignity; and WHEREAS, it will be impossible ever to replace Jeff Madden. NOW, THEREFORE, BE lT RESOLVED, that the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte hereby determines that Jeffrey Dalman Madden be recognized and honored for his unequaled dedication and outstanding contribution to the quality of life in Butte County.
