WHEREAS, a local emergency presently exists in the County of Butte in accordance with
the proclamation thereof by the Director of Emergency Services on the 9th day of January , 1995,
and its ratification by the Board of Supervisors on the 10th day of January, 1.995, as a result of
conditions of extreme peril to the safety of persons and property caused by a succession of wind and
rainstorms which have resulted int he wide spread flooding of low lying residential and agricultural
areas causing, or threatening, significant property damage and risk to human life, commencing on
or about 5:00 a.m. on the 7th day of January, 1995; and
WHEREAS, the situation resulting from said conditions of extreme peril is now deemed to
be within the control of the normal protective services, personnel, equipment and facilities of the
within said County of Buttef
NOW, THEREFORE, the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of California,
does hereby proclaim the termination of said local emergency.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors this 14th ~y of
February, 1995 by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisor Meyer, DoJ.an, Houx, Thomas and Chair McLaughla.n
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
NOT VOTING: None
