HomeMy WebLinkAbout95-044WI~REAS, the Butte County Board of Supervisors (Board} has recognized a need to modify public access hours in certain departments to obtain efficiency using existing staff; and WHEREAS, the Board has also recognized the need to modify public access hours in certain departments such that those departments will continue to provide service in accordance with state and federal legal regulation, court orders and mandates; and OF COUNTY WELFARE OFFICES WHEREAS, Butte County Code Section 2-1 {Ordinance No. 2241) provides that the Board of Supervisors may adopt resolutions specifying those office hours which a department will be open to public business transactions; and WHEREAS, the Department is legally mandated and required to make certain limited immediate need, documentation and application services available on non-holiday weekdays. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors that: 1. The Department's public hours at its facilities located at 42 County Center Drive, Oroville, shall be 5:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday; and 2. The Department's director is authorized to provide limited public access on Fridays, but only to the extent necessary to comply with applicable law.
