MAUREEN STAPLETON--BLAIR
WHEREAS, Maureen Stapleton-Blair, Supervisor-Accounting for
the Auditor-Controller's Office, announced her retirement as of
April 30, 1995; and
WHEREAS, Maureen Stapleton-Blair began her- career with the
County of Butte as a Bookkeeping Machine Operator in the Auditor's
Office in October, 1970. She continued to advance in responsible
positions within various sections of the.department, to become
Supervisor-Accounting, her present position in the Cost Accounting/
Welfare/Grants Section; and
WHEREAS, Maureen Stapleton-Blair has consistently demonstrated
a professional and positive approach to not only her own
responsibilities, but also in the working relationships she has
developed with County staff, other governmental agency
representatives, and the public.
WHEREAS, Maureen Stapleton-Blair has diligently served the
residents of the County of Butte since October, 1970 with
extraordinary dedication;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that this Board, on its own
behalf, and on behalf of the residents of the County of Butte, wish
to express to Maureen Stapleton-Blair sincere appreciation for her
many years of unselfish dedication and outstanding service rendered
to the residents of the County of Butte, and further wish her well
on her retirement.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the County
of Butte, State of California, this 25th day of April, 1995, by the
following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Meyer, Dolan, Houx, Thomas and Chair McLaughlin
