HomeMy WebLinkAbout95-066WHEREAS, the Butte County Board of Supervisors expresses its appreciation to VERN
KELCH for his 34 years as a law enforcement officer with the Butte County Sheri#1's Department; and
WHEREAS, VERN KELCH joined the Butte Caunty Sheriffs office in 1961 as a Reserve
Deputy Sheriff. In 1970 he became afull-time Deputy Sheriff and worked in the Patrol Division. Far
the past six years he has been assigned to the Child Abuse Unit as an investigator; and
WHEREAS, after serving the citizens of Butte County for 34 years, VERN KELCH is retiring
on May 5, 1995.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE TT RESOLVED that this Board, on its own behalf and on behalf
of the residents of the County of Butte, wish to express to DEPUTY SHERIFF VERN KELCH sincere
appreciation for his many years of unselfish dedication, devotion and outstanding service rendered to the
residents of the County of Butte during his career with the Butte Coun_ ty Sheriffs Department, and
further wish him well on his retirement.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors this 9th day of May,
1995, by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Meyer, Dolan, Houx, Thomas and Chair McLaughlin
