HomeMy WebLinkAbout95-076Reso~ufion WHEREAS, the Butte County Board of Supervisors had earlier adopted resolutions limiting public access hours of the Butte County Air Quality Management District (Resolution No. 93-168) to reflect the Board's general policy of limiting the County work week to 40 hours as set forth in Ordinance No, 3103; WHEREAS, the Butte County Air Quality Management District has presented compelling evidence to this Board that the reduced work week has resulted in a growing backlog of work; WHEREAS, the Butte County Air Quality Management' District has presented compelling evidence that the reduced work week has adversely affected the ability of the Butte County Air Quality Management District to comply with the mandated program timelines; WHEREAS, the Butte County Air Quality Management District is self- funded by state subvention funds and established permit fees sufficient to offset the increase in salaries and benefits necessary by a restoration of a 40 hour per week court schedule. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that: 1. The above-mentioned resolution reducing the work week of the Butte County Air Quality Management District is hereby rescinded and the Butte Page 1 RESOLUTION RETURNING THE BUTTE COUNTY AIR QUALITY MANAGEMENT DISTRICT TO A 40 HOUR WORK WEEK County Air Quality Management District is no longer subject to the reduced work-week established by Butte County Code Section 2-1; and, 2. The Butte County Air Quality Management District be restored to a 40 hour per week schedule.
