WHEREAS, a local. emergency presently exists in the County of Butte in accordance with the
proclamation of existence of a local emergency, Resolution No. 95-70, adapted by the Board of
Supervisors on the 9th day of May, 1995, and continued by Resolution No. 95-79 on May 23, 1995,
as a result of conditions of extreme peril to the safety of persons and property caused by increased
dam releases which have resulted in the wide spread flooding of low lying residential and agricultural
areas causing, or threatening, significant property damage, commencing on or about 5:00 a.rn. on the
3rd day of May, 1995; and
WHEREAS, the situation resulting from said conditions of extreme peril is now deemed to
be within the control of the normal protective services, personnel, equipment and facilities of and
within said County of Butte.
NOW, THEREFORE, the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of California,
does hereby proclaim the termination of said local emergency.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors this 27th day of rune,
1995 by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Meyer, Dolan, Houx, Thomas and Chair McLaughlin

ABSENT: None
NOT VOTING: None
