HomeMy WebLinkAbout95-107RESOLUTION IN RECOGNITION OF ROSE MARIE STINE UPON RETIREMENT FROM THE BUTTE COUNTY LIBRARY WHEREAS, Rose Marie Stine, Library Assistant III, for the Oroville Library, announced her retirement as of August 21, 1495; and WHEREAS, Rose Marie Stine, began her career with the County of Butte as a Library Assistant II March 28, 1960, and advanced within the Department as a result of reclassification to Library Assistant III. WHEREAS, Rose Marie Stine has worked in various areas of library public service during her career, earning the respect of fellow employees and others involved with library activities in Butte County. ~A~HERF,.AS, Rose Marie Stine to further expand her knowledge of library reference procedures and practice was the first Butte County Library staff member to complete the North State Cooperative Library System's Reference Correspondence course. She has continued to keep her reference skills current through workshops in specific areas of reference service offered through the State Library and North State Cooperative Library System. WHEREAS, Rose Marie Stine has cheerfully served the information needs of the residents of the County of Butte for 35 years with extraordinary dedication; NOW, THF.iiEFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that this Board, on its own behalf, and on behalf of the residents of the County of Butte, wish to express to Rose Marie Stine sincere appreciation for her many years of unselfish dedication and outstanding service rendered to the residents of the County of Butte, and further wish her well on her retirement.
