RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING BI-ANNUAL
AUDIT CYCLE FOR RECLAMATION DISTRICT #833
WHEREAS, the Board of Director of Reclamation District #833
approved a resolution electing to replace the annual audit with a
bi-annual audit, and
WHEREAS, a copy of the District's resolution and a letter
requesting that the County Board of Supervisors approve the
conducting of audits on a bi-annual basis (every two years), and
WHEREAS, Government Code Section 26909(e) states "... A
special district may, by unanimous request of the governing board
of the special district, with unanimous approval of the board of
supervisors, replace the annual special audit with a biennial audit
covering a two-year period...".
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Supervisors
of the County of Butte hereby unanimously approve the establishment
of a biennial audit cycle for Reclamation District #833.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the County
of Butte, State of California, this L9thday of August 1995, by
the following unanimous vote:
