RESOLUTION PROCLAIMING SEPTEMBER 17-23, 1995
NATIONAL REHABILITATION WEEK
WHEREAS, the Work Training Center is observing and celebrating National Rehabilitation
Week during the third week of September; and
WHEREAS, Butte County recognizes and values the educational, social and humanitarian
contribution of its many citizens with disabilities; and
WHEREAS, those citizens have found hope, spirit and dignity through the services of
rehabilitative programs; and
WHEREAS, rehabilitative services throughout our nation help to restore people with
disabilities to independent, productive and fulfilling lives; and
WHEREAS, Butte County is proud and honored to have Work Training Center's quality and
progressive rehabilitative facilities in the community.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT SO RESOLVED that the Butte County Board of Supervisors
proclaim September 17 - 23, 1995, as National Rehabilitation Week, and encourage all citizens to
renew their commitment to people with disabilities and to the efforts of rehabilitative services in
improving the quality of life for them.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors on this 12th day of September 1995
by the following vote:
