POSTAGE REVOLVING FI1ND

WHEREAS, the Chief Administrative Officer as Purchasing Agent is responsible for purchases of
postage;
WHEREAS, there has heretofore been established a Postage Revolving fiend in the amount of $20,000;
WHEREAS, the cost of postage and volume of mailings has risen sharply since this limitation was set;
WHEREAS, Government Code Sections 29320 et seq. authorizes the establishment of and limitations
on revolving funds.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors as fol]ows:
I. The Purchasing Agent's Postage Revolving Fund is hereby established in the amount of $40,000; and
2. The Auditor is directed to issue his warrant in the amount of $20,000, payable to the Chief
Administrative C)f~icer, to bring the revolving fund to the new amount;
3. Resolution 90-82 heretofore adopted on May 22, 1990 is hereby rescinded.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors this 26th day of September ] 99>
