HomeMy WebLinkAbout95-144~, r ~'5~~111it~~tt ~~c~. 95-144 RESOLUTION APPROVING AN APPLICATION FOR FUNDING AND THE EXECU`fION OF A GRANT AGREEMENT FROM THE PLANNINGlTECHNICAL ASSISTANCE ALLOCATION OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA CDBG PROGRAM WHEREAS, the unincorporated community of Chapmantown in Butte County has a substantial low-income population; and WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte desires to use funds available from the State of California to assist low-income households improve their communities. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte that the County has reviewed and hereby approves the submission of an application to the State of California for a Small Cities CDBG General Allocation Planning/Technical Assistance Grant in the amount of $17,500 for the following purposes: Revitalization Strategy $ 6,500 Preliminary Site and Building Design-- Community Service Center $ 5,500 Prepare Grant Application $ 4,600 General Administration $ 900 TO"I'Ai., $17,500 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the County Board of Supervisors dedicates $550 in funds from the County's Program Income Reuse Plan; BF, IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the County Board of Supervisors authorises the Chairman of the Butte County Board of Supervisors or the Butte County Chief Administrative Officer to sign and submit this application and Statement of Assurances on behalf of the County and authorizes the Chairman of the Butte County Board of Supervisors or the Butte County Chief Administrative Officer to sign and execute a grant agreement with the State of California, any amendments thereto, and any other documents related to this grant application.
