HomeMy WebLinkAbout95-159o~ svp~ ~~ : n: BC3~~D C)~ ~UPE~~~C~FtS ~~~*; ;*~ GOIi!NTY OF BUTTE, STATE OF GALIFORNlA ~ ~ pia • `1 ~~~ G-pU~~•~ ~r'sa~ufir~r'1 ~~~. 95-159 •.__ a~ RESOLUTION OF THE BUTTE COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS ACCEPTING APPLICANT STATUS FROM THE BUTTE COUNTY ASSOCIATION OF GOVERNMENTS UNDER THE CLEAN AIR AND TRANSPORTATION IMPROVEMENT ACT WHEREAS, the Clean Air and Transportation Improvement Act (CATIA) passed June 15, 1990 allocated funds to Butte County for certain capital projects; and WHEREAS, the Butte County Association of Governments (BCAG) is the designated eligible applicant for funds under this act; and WHEREAS, the guidelines adopted by the California Transportation Commission (CTC} allows BCAG to transfer its applicant status to another public agency that accepts the rights and responsibilities to implement the projects; and WHEREAS, the County of Butte desires to construct Class II bike lanes with CATIA funds; BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of California, to accept from Butte County Association of Governments (BCAG} the applicant status under the Clean Air and Transportation Improvement Act with its attendant rights and obligations.
