HomeMy WebLinkAbout96-030C~JhJT'1f` .~"~, 5rt''ATL OF CA1..i~'~7lwtl'~i~ ~:. . _ .. hi'S~` Lifll~ll t~0. 96-30 RESOLUTION OF THE BUTTE COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS AMENDING THE BUTTE COUNTY CONFLICT OF INTEREST CODE WHEREAS, on May 7, 1991, the Butte County Board of Supervisors, by Resolution No. 91-56, adopted a Conflict of Interest Code, a listing of Designated Employees, a listing of Committees and Commissions, and Place of Filing for Designated Employees and Committees and Commissions pursuant to the Fair Political Practices Act; and on June 22, 1993, adopted Resolution No. 93-86 amending said Code; WHEREAS, the County of Butte has reviewed the Conflict of Interest Code as amended, the list of Designated Employees, the list of Committees and Commissions, and Place of Filing for Designated Employees and Committees and Commissions on a periodic basis as required by the Fair Political Practices Act; and WHEREAS, after conducting such review, the listings of Designated Employees, the Committees and Commissions, and Place of Filing for Designated Employees and Committees and Commissions requires modification. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, as follows: That the listing of Designated Employees as set forth in the Code adopted by Resolution No. 93-86 be replaced fully and completely by the list of Designated Employees which accompanies this resolution and which list bears the revision date of December 31, 1995. This attachment shall therefore supplant the former Attachment B to the County Conflict of Interest Code and become the applicable and valid Attachment B to that Code. 2. The listing of committees and commissions, the members of which are required to file Conflict of Interest Statements, be replaced fully and completely with the listing of commissions and committees which accompanies this resolution. This attachment shall therefore supplant the former Attachment C to the County Conflict of Interest Code and became the applicable and valid Attachment C (Parts I and II) to that Code. 3. The Place of Filing far Designated Employees and Committees and Commissions be replaced fully and completely with the Place of Filing for Designated Employees and Committees and Commissions which accompanies this resolution. This attachment shall therefore supplant the former Attachment E to the County Conflict of Interest Code and become the applicable and valid Attachment E to that Code. The Personnel Director shall notify the filing officer (County Clerk) within seven days of each employee assuming or leaving any designated position. ~fhe employee shall submit the completed statement to his or her department, which shall make and eetain a copy and forward the original to the County Clerk where it shall be held on tile.
