A RESOLUTION APPROVING AN APPLICATION AND CONTRACT EXECUTION FOR
FUNDING FROM THE GENERAL/NATIVE AMERICAN ALLOCATION OF THE STATE
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT (CDBG} PROGRAM AND
AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A GRANT AGREEMENT AND ANY
AMENDMENTS THERETO WITH THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA FOR THE
PURPOSES OF THIS GRANT
BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors of Butte County as
follows:
SECTION 1.
The Board of Supervisors has reviewed and hereby approves an application for up to:
Chapmantown Community Center: $425,500.00
General Administration: $37,500.00
Activity Delivery: $37,000.00
SECTION 2.
If the grant application is approved, the County will provide local leverage as follows:
Staff Time: $4,000.00
Permit Fee Waivers: $2,200.00 ($1,200.00 Building Permit
fees, $1,000.00 Use Permit fees}
Regulatory Relief: Expedite permit processing by
assigning first priority for all phases of
the project.
SECTION 3.
The Chief Administrative Officer is hereby authorized and directed to act on the
County's behalf in all matters pertaining to this application.
SECTION 4
If the application is approved, the Chief Administrative Officer is authorized to enter into
and sign the grant agreement and any amendments thereto with the State of California
for the purpose of this grant.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at the regular meeting of the Butte County
Board of Supervisors held on rlarch 26, 1996 by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Meyer, Holan, Houx, Thomas and Chair McLaughlin
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
