GRANT DEED AND AUTHORIZING CHAIIZMAN TO SIGN
WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of California, heretofore
declared its intention to exchange that real property described in Exhibit "B", attached hereto, far that
certain real property described in Exhibit "A", attached hereto; and
WHEREAS, that said real property described in Exhibit "B" attached hereto, is not necessary
for the public or county use; and
WHEREAS, that said real property described in Exhibit "A", attached hereto, is necessary for
the public and county use as highway right-of--way; and
WHEREAS, the property to be exchanged is of equal value; and
WHEREAS, the Board desires to exchange said property pursuant to Section 960.4 of the
Streets and Highways Code and Section 253G5 of the Government Code of the State of California,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte
as follows:
1. That the Board hereby exchanges the real property described in Exhibit "B", attached
hereto, and incorporated herein as if set forth in full, for that certain real property shown in Exhibit
"A", which is attached hereto and incorporated herein as if set forth in full.
The Chairman is authorized to sign a Quit Claim Deed in favor of Trivest Land Company, Inc.
covering the real property described in Exhibit "B" and the Chairman is further authorized to accept a
Grant Deed from Trivest Land Company, Inc. in favor of the County of Butte covering that certain
real property described in Exhibit "A".
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State. of
California, this 23rd day of April , 1996.

Those certain county roads known as Bangor Road {now known as Oroville-Bangor
Highway), Avacado Avenue, Leman Avenue, Lune Avenue, Orange Avenue, and Lot "G" as
said Roads and Lots are shown on the map of "Ford & Fowler Subdivision Unit 2" filed in
Book 10 of Maps at pages 6A, 7A, and 8A, Butte County Records.
