RESOLUTION APPROVING TRANSACTION, iDENTIFYIN[T SUIiJ~(:7 LwiVll,
AND AUTHORIZING OFFICERS TO EXECUTE DOCUMENTS
WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of California, heretofore
declared its intention to purchase real property through the use of Community Development Block
Grant money for the purpose of locating a community center in the Chapman-Mulberry area of Butte
County; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to the direction of the Board of Supervisors County did enter into a Lease
with Option to Purchase, a copy of which is attached to this Resolution as Exhibit "A"; and
WHEREAS, said Lease with Option to Purchase applies to real property described as 101.0
Cleveland Street, Chico, California, Assessor's Parcel Number 005-417-001.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte as
follows:
That the Board of Supervisors hereby approves the Lease with Option to Purchase for that real
property described as 101.0 Cleveland Street, Chico, California, Assessor's Parcel Number 005-417-
001, subject to the terms and conditions contained within said document.
The Chairman of the Board of Supervisors, the Chief Administrative Officer and/or the Assistant
Chief Administrative Officer are hereby authorized and empowered to sign documents on behalf of
the County of Butte related to said Lease with Option to Purchase on behalf of the County of Butte
or the exercise of the option contained therein.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of California,
this 14th day of Ma~_, 1996.
