RESOLUTION HONORING MARIAN L. HOTTELL ON HER RETIREMENT
FROM THE DISTRICT ATTORNEY'S OFFICE, COUNTY OF BUTTE
WHEREAS, Marian L. Hottell, Supervisor-Family Support
Services for the District Attorney's Office, announced her
retirement as of May 16, 1996; and
WHEREAS, Marian L. Hottell has served the people of
the County of Butte for over 21-1/2 years with extraordinary
dedication and devotion; and
WHEREAS, Marian L. Hottell began her Butte County
career in the District Attorney's Office in October of 1974 as a
Typist Clerk II, transferred to the Family Support Division the
following year as a Family Support Investigator, and was
steadily promoted through increasingly responsible positions
within the Family Support Division to the supervisory position
she holds today; and
WHEREAS, Marian L. Hottell has earned the respect and
admiration of her supervisors and co-workers throughout her
nearly 22 years of professional service and unflagging
determination to serve the children of Butte County;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that this Board, on
behalf of the people of this County as well as on its own
behalf, wish to express to Marian L. Hottell sincere
appreciation far her many years of outstanding service to the
people of the County of Butte, and further, to wish her well on
her retirement.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of
Supervisors on this __ _14th _day of May 1996, by
the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Dolan., Houx, Thomas and Chair McLaughlin
