HomeMy WebLinkAbout96-077• ~: i~~ ~ ~ ~ • ,4, ~'~~ C,~UN,~cj*~•• ~ v Y' ~ ~~r~ 3~ a~ f ..,, , ~c'SD~tifi~~tl ~lt~, 96-77 RESOLUTION PROCLAIMING AUGUST 15 - 2_5, 199b TO BE REHABILITATION WEEK WHEREAS, the Work Training Center is observing and celebrating National Rehabilitation Week during the third week of August; and WHEREAS, Butte County recognizes and values the educational, social and humanitarian contribution of its many citizens with disabilities; and WHEREAS, those citizens have found hope, spirit and dignity through the services of rehabilitative programs; and WHEREAS, rehabilitative services throughout our nation help people with disabilities to achieve independent, productive and fulfilling lives; and WHEREAS, Butte County is proud and honored to have Work Training Center's quality and progressive rehabilitative facilities in the community. NOW, THEREFORE, BE 1T SO RESOLVED that the Butte County Board of Supervisors proclaim August 15 - 25, 1996, to be Rehabilitation Week, and encourage all citizens to renew their commitment to people with disabilities and to the efforts of rehabilitative services in improving the quality of life for them.
