RESOLUTION FROCLAMING 1996 THE THIRTY-SECOND
ANNIVERSARY OF TIIE UNITED WAY IN BUTTE AND GLENN COlJNT1E5
WHEREAS, United Way of Butte-Glenn Counties belongs to the citizens of Butte and Glenn
County; and
V4'HEREAS, the money donated for programs and services stays in Butte and Glenn County;
and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE 1T RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors of the County of
Butte that they do hereby proclaim 1996 the Thirty-Second Anniversary Campaign of the United Way
in serving those in need through their 20 member agencies.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors to
urge all citizens to join in support of the United Way and help through contributions to participating
organizations.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors on this ?3rd day of July, 1996, by
the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Meyer, Dolan, Houx, Thomas and Chair McLaughlin
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
