RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING ANNEXATION OF PROPERTY TO
OROVILLE-WYANDOTTE IRRIGATION DISTRICT
AP 028-300-027 (BANGOR FIRF. STATION}
WHEREAS, at some time in the recent past the domestic water well at the Bangor Fire Station was
abandoned and water service was provided b_y the Oroville-Wyandotte Irrigation District; and
WHEREAS, The Water Code of the State ofC'alifornia prohibits Oroville-Wyandotte Irrigation District from
serving water to any property not in the District; and
WHEREAS, it is therefore advantageous for the County of Butte to authorize the annexation of the Bangor
Fire Station property, identified as AP028- X00-027.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors as follows:
1. The Board of Supervisors consents to and authorizes the submission of an annexation
application to the Oroville-Wyandotte Irrigation District for AP 028->00-027-
2 The Board authorizes the Eire Department to submit the application on beha]f of the County,
together with the payment of any related fees and charges.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors thisl~th day of August
1996 by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Meyer, Dolan, Houx, Thomas and Chair McLaughlin
NOES: None
