EXECUTTON OF A GRANT AGREEMENT FROM TTTE PLANNTNGITECANTCAL
ASSTSTANCE ALLOCATTON OF TTTE STATE COMMUNTTY DEVELOPMENT
BLOCK GRANT PROGRAM
BE TT RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte as follows:
SECTION 1
The Board of Supervisors has reviewed and hereby approves an application for up to:
Butte County industrial Marketing and TIG Emp]oyment - $28,500
Generation Strategy
County-Wide Tourism Action Plan - $ 9,500
Administration - $ 2,000
SECTIO\` 2
The Board of Supervisors has reviewed the citizen participation p]an for compliance with federal
statute and has determined that this plan was followed for the development of this application.
SECTION 3
The Board of Supervisors hereby approves the use of a contribution of $5,000 from the Butte County
Economic Development Corporation to be used as the County's match for this project.
SECTION 4
The County Administrative Officer is hereby authorized and directed to act on the County's behalf
in a]1 matters pertaining to this application.
SECTION 5
If the application is approved, the County Administrative Officer is authorized to enter into and sign
the grant agreement and any subsequent amendments with the State of California for the purpose of
this grant.

August 1996 by the following vote:
