HomeMy WebLinkAbout96-098RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO DISSOLVE COUNTY SERVICE AREA NO. 159 (OAK HIGHLANDS SUBDIVISION} WHEREAS, on June 13, 1996, Steve Lotti, submitted an application to the Butte County Local Agency Formation Commission for the proposed dissolution of County Service Area No. 159; and WHEREAS, on August 1, 1996, the Butte County Local Agency Formation Commission ("~AFCo") adopted and passed Resolution No. 96-37 approving the proposed dissolution of County Service Area No. 159; and WHEREAS, the reason for the proposed dissolution of County Service Area No. 159 is that the property was rezoned from PUD (Planning Unit Development) to FR-10 (Foothill Recreational) and the maintenance of facilities by a County Service Area for a Planned Unit Development is no longer required. WHEREAS, no budget has been established or funds collected within the County Service Area; and the Butte County Board of Supervisors intends to hold a public hearing on said proposed dissolution. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors as follows: 1. That Caunty Service Area No. 159 is hereby proposed to be dissolved. The boundaries of said County Service Area No. 159 are described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a part hereof by this reference. ~\i'S~.~litfi~~}?1 ~~'i~. 96-98 2. That all obligations for provision of service to properties within the boundaries of County Service Area No. 159 shall be assumed by the County of Butte. 3. The property shall remain in County Service Area No. 164 (Butte County Animal Control District). 4. On September z4 1996, at 10:00 a.m. a public hearing will be held on the dissolution of said County Service Area No. 159.
