AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE N0. 942 OF THE
COUNTY OF BUTTE, KNOWN AS THE "SALARY ORDINANCE"
The Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of
California, do ordain as follows:
1. That Ordinance No. 942 of the County of Butte is hereby
amended as follows:
(a) That Section No. 3 (B), entitled "For Classes with
Flat Rate Assignments. Salary rates for the fallowing classifi-
cations will apply as indicated'', be amended by adding thereto
Class Title, Flat Amount
Medical Director Flat 500 Mo.
{b) That Section No. 24, entitled HOSPITAL, be amended
by adding thereto
Salary Range No. of Positions Classification Title
Flat 1 Medical Director
{c) That Section No. 33, entitled MENTAL HEALTH, be
amended by adding thereto the following notation:
The positions of Psychiatrist, Psychologist, and
Psychiatric Social Worker may be filled by less
than full time persons in any number, as long as
the total aggregate time in each class of position
does not exceed the total number of authorized
positions in that class.
(d) That Section No. 17, entitled DATA PROCESSING, be
amended by deleting therefrom

changing the total number of positions to 19.
2. That this ordinance shall take effect thirty (30) days
after the date of its adoption, and before the expiration of
fifteen (15) days after its passage, it shall be published with

the names of the members voting for and against the same, once,
in a newspaper published in the County of Butte, State of
California.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the
County of Butte, State of California, this ~ ~~t, day of November,
1967, by the following vote:
AYES; Supervisors Dunaway, Maxon, McKillop, Pryde and Chairman Howsden
