WHEREAS, Butte County Code Section 2-1 provides that the Board of Supervisors may adopt
resolution specifying those office hours which a department will be open to public business transactions;
and
WHEREAS, the Butte County Board of Supervisors has recognized a need to modify public access
hours in certain departments to increase efficiency using existing staff; and
Wf-IEItEAS, the Board of Supervisors has deterna~ined that the Butte County Library has a need to
provide services to the public during a wider range of hours.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE TT RESOLVED, by the Butte County Board of Supervisors that the Library
will be open to the public effective September 2l, 1996 as follows:

Wednesday 2-9
Thursday 2-6
Friday 10-5
Saturday 12-4

Monday 11-1, 2-6
