COMMENDING ROBERT "BOB" LYNCH
WHEREAS, Bob Lynch has served the Butte County Planning Commission with dedication
and distinction since his appointment on January 29, 1985; and
WHEREAS, in the performance of this important job, Bob Lynch has provided clear and
concise direction in terms of protecting property rights while enhancing development opportunities
that benefit all the citizens of Butte County; and
WHEREAS, Bab Lynch has served with compassion, fervor, and sometimes humor; and
WHEREAS, Bob Lynch has worked in harmony with staff and fellow Convnission
members and the public he served; and
WHEREAS, he is a man of experience, intelligence, integrity, and morality, and that his
contributions during his term of office with the Commission have been helpful and of great value to
Butte County; and
WHEREAS, he is a man respected for his contributions to improving and protecting the
unique quality of life we enjoy in Butte County.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE YT RESOLVED that the Butte County Board of Supervisors
recognizes and expresses its appreciation for the services of Bab Lynch to the County of Butte,
extends sincere appreciation and commendation to Bob Lynch for his distinguished service on the
Butte County Planning Commission; and
FURTHER, that this Resolution be included in the minutes of the Butte County Board of
Supervisors, and that a copy of said Resolution be delivered to Bob Lynch as a testimonial of the
sentiments of the Board of Supervisors of Butte County.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors this 17th day of
December 1996 by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Meyer, Dolan, Thomas and Chair McLaughlin
NOES: None
ASSENT: Supervisor Houx
