years as a law enforcement officer with the Butte County Sheriff's Office.
WHEREAS, GRANT JOHNSON joined the Butte County Sheriff s Office in 1974 as
a Deputy Sheriff. During his years as a Deputy Sheriff, he worked all phases of law
enforcement. While a Court Security Off cer, he assisted the court in developing a much
needed Court Security Plan. The last few years, he has been assigned to the Civil Division.
WHEREAS, after serving the citizens of Butte County for 22 years, GRANT
JOHNSON is retiring on December 27, 199b.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors on its own
behalf, and on behalf of the residents of the County of Butte:
That said Board expresses their deep appreciation for the unselfish dedication and
devotion given by DEPUTY SHERIFF GRANT JOHNSON during his career with the Butte
County Sheriffs Off ce.
